Because of the success of the Max/MSP workshop taking place from August
23rd to August 28th, a second one is organized from August 30th to
September 4th.

Like the first one, this workshop is for beginners as well as more
advanced users.

Topics : MIDI, sound synthesis, sampling, effects, spacialization, use
of sensors,etc. The workshop focuses on sound and music, therefore the
use of Jitter is not taught.

The main language of the workshop is French but personal explanations
might be given in English as well.

Costs : €200,-

The number of attendees is limited to ten.

Dear friends,

Harvestworks once again presents an intensive 5-evening course in
Max/MSP taught by two veteran Max programmers and performers, Luke
DuBois and Matthew Ostrowski. This hands-on “boot-camp” style workshop
is intended to bring up the level of the novice Max user so that they
are able to develop their own Max patches with efficiency and
reliability for their own performances and/or installation work.

A wide range of topics can be covered, from data structures and
encapsulation to filters, FFT, VST plugins and external controllers, to
third party objects like FFTEase, PerColator, TapTools or Miller
Puckette’s fiddle~ and bonk~.

The course comes with unlimited labtime during the week, where you can
study together with others or with our Assistant Teachers. It is not
suited for beginners, previous experience or training in Max is
