Csound Journal – Article Index Updated for Csound Magazine

Hi All,

I had a wonderful suggestion from Rory Walsh that it would be great to
have a master article index for not only the Csound Journal but also
the Csound Magazine, so I’ve gone ahead and updated and cleaned up the
Journal Index:

http://www.csounds.com/journal/articleIndex.html

This index includes direct links to articles not only for the Journal
but also the Magazine.??This should make it easier to find and read
articles.??Some articles in the Csound Magazine included formatting
and others were embedded within a frameset; for those that are in
framesets, you’ll get a link directly to the article and will miss out
on the nice looking formatting, but you always have access to the
original Csound Magazines for that if you like.??The article index
should also make it easy to mass download all the articles via wget or
plucker.

It was actually really nice to look at all the old Csound Magazine
articles when building the new index and rereading all of the
fantastic articles: very inspring!??So, my deep thanks to all of you
who have in the past written and shared your writings with the Csound
Magazine, and I invite everyone to (re)visit those articles.??Absolute
gems!

Thanks,
steven

Csound Journal – Call for Articles

Jim and I are starting the process of putting together the next issue
of the Csound Journal and are now accepting submissions. Templates for
articles can be found on the Guidelines page:

http://www.csounds.com/journal/submissions.html

We are looking towards the end of the year for the next Journal,
sometime in December. If you are interested in contributing an
article, please contact either Jim or myself. Also, if there is any
particular topic you would like written on, please feel free to
mention here and perhaps someone will offer to take up the topic.

Thanks and looking forward to the next issue!
steven
