Hi all,
A new release of QuteCsound for Mac and Windows is ready (a source
package is also provided for other platforms). Lots of new features
and some important bug fixes.
You can download it here:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=227265&package_id=289578&release_id=646303
New in QuteCsound 0.3.8:
– Widgets can now be moved and resized with the mouse using the edit
mode (Ctrl+E or Command+E). Multiple widgets can be resized and moved
simultaneousy, by adding selections using the shift key when selecting
another widget.
– New Line Edit widget which repicates the MacCsound ioText label
widget. This widget is useful for sending strings to csound.
– Listing of MIDI and Audio devices available using the buttons beside
the device name. (Unfortunately crashing under certain circumstances
on OS X).
– Clicking a link the manual to a csd file now opens the file in
QuteCsound, in read only mode (must be “saved as…” when modified)
– New back and forward buttons in the help panel.
– Controller widget now becomes horizontal if width > height
– Opcode entries and Manual can now be opened in external browser
(using Alt+Shift+F1)
– New action to join orc/sco files into a csd file.
– New option to see a widget’s channel name by hovering over the
widget (no need to open the preferences)
– When opening a widget’s prefernce dialog, the channel text is now
selected by default
Fixed in QuteCsound 0.3.8:
– Controller widget now sends correctly horizontal/vertical channels
under all circumstances
– Buttons were appearing around 20 pixels below their real position
– Text alignment is now save
– Fixed initial display position for point controllers
– orc and sco files are now saved correctly (Widget section was being added)
Please report problems and ideas to the qutecsound-users mailing list:
https://lists.sourceforge.net/mailman/listinfo/qutecsound-users
Thanks to Andy Fillebrown as usual for Windows installers.
Enjoy!
Andrés
