I’m looking for 10-15 minute pieces to be played in a school bus tricked out with 1000 camera obscuras.  Mostly SF Bay Area Artists, but not exclusively.  Email me or Simon (below).  Details:

Bus Obscura is an amazing visual experience  —  passengers travel on the bus as usual but instead  of looking directly to the world outside, the windows are transformed into projection screens that collect hundreds of small images that flow into each other.  We are inviting proposals from sound artists who would be interested in being a part of this project either by submitting a CD that could be played during one of the journeys or by proposing a live performance.  We are looking for proposals that will jive with the visual experience  —  think of it as putting a soundtrack to a film.  Each journey lasts between 10 and 15 minutes and audio pieces should be tailored accordingly.
