5.12.3 OSX release

Here we go again…

After staying up until midnight to diagnose the issue with portmidi on OSX 10.5, I am happy to announce it has been fixed (for now) and I am releasing a bugfix package (5.12.3) that includes a working re-entrant portmidi module.

It’s now up on sourceforge as 5.12.3-OSX10.5-Intel. Again, hopefully if this is settled, I will produce a 10.4 package (for Intel) too.

Csound 5.12.1 release – OSX

Hi everyone,

I have now released a new version of the 5.12 package for OSX 10.5, Intel. This release fixes the 0dbfs bug found in the previous 5.12 release. In addition, it includes, extra officially and experimentally, the new opcodes mincer and tposcal (only in floats and not documented, note that these opcodes are liable to change before their ‘official’ release).

Thanks to Steven Yi for finding out where the bug was and suggesting a fix.

Regards

Victor

Hi,

Thanks to Ian McCurdy for its very good new release of Csound Realtime Examples catalog,
all examples are working fine and i think it is a very good start to discover Csound.
(and with the Csound book of course)

The new release is at

The link in Csound.com is showing a very old catalog.
