The new release of Csound 5.06 also includes packages for MacOS “Classic”
(System 7.5 to OS 9.2).  The files for MacOS have been added to the
Sourceforge File Release page in the same section as the other platforms
(the “csound5” package).

Download from here:

The files available for MacOS are:

Csound5.06_OS9.smi.bin        Csound library, CsoundFront front end,
MIDI to Csound and Mr. Tweaky utilities,
                              examples, etc. for all users.

Csound5.06_OS9_src.smi.bin    Complete source code for Csound, the front
end, all dependencies, and extras.  Only
useful to programmers wishing to use the
API, develop plugins, write Cscore programs,
or to recompile Csound.  (It does contain a
couple of goodies for advanced users).

In addition to the new platform-independent features, opcodes, and
improvements to Csound 5.06, the MacOS version includes the following
changes:

*  CsoundFront now assigns appropriate file types and icons to all new files
   written by Csound.

*  New icons for text files, analysis files, Csound plugins, and a few other
   miscellaneous types.

Please send all questions, comments, and feedback to my email address below
and include “Csound” in the subject line.

Thanks!

New piece using Csound by Lou Cohen

Hi to all!

This note to let you know I’ve posted some improvisations using an extended
Csound orchestra running under MacCsound. You can listen to these at:

http://ruccas.org/wiki.pl/Lou_Cohen

Scroll to the bottom for the improvisations. All the music linked to on this
page was written with Csound.

best regards,
Lou Cohen

partikkel slight update

A slight update to partikkel has been commited to CVS.
The changes are fully backwards compatible.
The reason for the changes was to allow softsyncing the grain clock of
several partikkel instances. Manpages are also updated.

An example of softsync with two instances of partikkel is attached.
