With SoundImageSound VII the Conservatory Computer Studio for Music Composition (CCSMC) in combination with the Conservatory of Music, University of the Pacific presents the seventh year of concerts featuring the work of artists who cross boundaries to combine the aural and the visual. Original works that combine sound and visual image in any style will be considered. Individual artists or collaborating teams may submit. Works of fixed media should be submitted on DVD. Alternative formats (computer HD, mini-dv, etc) are possible. Works requiring multiple projections will be considered.
Unique or unusual equipment required for the presentation of a particular piece will be the artist’s responsibility.
Artists may submit works in either of the following categories –
Fixed media concert works – multi-channel sound (2 – 5.1) and video.
Live performance works – combining live computer music and video
Required Submission Materials:
DVD of the proposed piece (preferably region free)
For a live performance proposal send DVD or URL documentation of your work

Brief program notes (200 words)
Brief artist bio (200 words)

Artists will be notified by February 15, 2010. All submissions will be placed in the library of the CCSMC. If return is required include a SASE. Artists selected for presentation are encouraged but not required to attend.
